Well here are the 5 R's of Saving Money:
Re-think - The way you do business and your processes to ensure you are efficient.
Reuse - Waste is a big part of losing money, maybe you can re-use that item again without impacting on safety etc.
Recycle - to recycle a product into something new or giving it to another business to use can be a great way to save.
Reduce - the amount of product we use or the waste in time can be reduced with proper planning.
Re-purpose - it is possible that one piece of equipment can be used for another purpose.
I'm in the process of writing a book (electronic and print) to help businesses save money. Examples for both product and service based industries, B2C, B2B, B2G, etc.
With just a little planning, thought and consulting people in our operation I'm hoping you can start to save on your inputs, process, and become a quality business that runs an efficient ship.
Tip - Equipment Maintenance (re-think)
Keeping business equipment in good shape saves money - To keep your paper shredders running smoothly and not replacing it before needed consider using lubricant sheets to keep your shredder working well. For about $10 you can put off replacing that couple of hundred dollar shredder longer. Staples has them Shredder Lubricant Sheets, 12-Pack and I'm sure other business supply companies have them too!.
Have a great day eh! Tracey
